ANDROID BASED EDUCATIONAL GAME IN INDONESIAN TEYL

Gadgets provide advantages for life. The current world-famous software available is Android. This software is believed to assist teachers in delivering knowledge effectively. In relation to that idea, this study aims to describe the effectiveness of Android based educational game to improve young learners’ ability in learning English vocabulary. The fourth graders of primary school were pointed as the subjects of this research. Pre-experimental design was applied by using (pre- and post-) test as the main instrument. Based on the statistical analysis of the data,the results show that the use of educational game from Android (App Inventor) improved the students’ English competence in learning vocabulary. The students get in-depth understanding about the topic of animal identified from the better score in post test. Furthermore, the game greatly encourages the students in giving active participation during the classroom activities. In brief, using Android based educational game is one of joyful alternative teaching innovations to support the creative young learners’ teachers

My First Time Teaching English in School

This book, My First Time Teaching English in School, is one of the products of our institution research on Analisis Efikasi Diri Mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris pada Program Magang III. The main part of this book is the compilation of student teachers’ stories of their teaching English experiences during accomplishing Teaching Practicum Program (Magang III) in different schools. The writings are in the form of recount text (telling past events) that had been selected in terms of language and content. The authors start overviewing the theoretical information about teaching practicum in Indonesian university context. Then, the exploration of the students’ experiences were expressed into two types: challenging and frightening. The classification was sorted from the expression or feeling that they put into their full writings. Next, this book collects the pictures of students when they carried out teaching practicum with various poses and partners. In the last part, the authors give conclusion according to the students’ stories in this book connected with the theory of Teaching Practicum for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)

Nilai-Nilai Ajaran Tasawuf Walisongo, Dan Perkembangannya Di Nusantara

Abstrak:Walisongo adalah sembilan orang yang telah mampu mencapai tingkat wali, suatu derajat tingkat tinggi yang mampu mengawal babahan hawa sanga (mengawal sembilan lubang dalam diri manusia), sehingga memiliki peringkat wali yang menyebarkan agama Islam di pulau Jawa. Ajaran tasawuf yang diajarkan meliputi tasawuf akhlaqi dan tasawuf falsafi. Cara pengajarannya melalui 1) Berdakwah dengan Pendidikan, kelembagaan dan Ilmu Hikmah; 2) Menggunakan kebijaksanaan dan melakukan akulturasi ajaran Islam dengan kebudayaan setempat; 3) Mengakulturasi kesenian dengan ajaran tasawuf. Kata Kunci: Walisongo, Tasawuf Abstract:Walisongo are nine people who have been able to achieve the level of trustee, a high degree capable of escorting babahan hawa sanga (escort nine holes in human beings), so it has a rating guardian who spread Islam in Java. MANAJEMEN RISIKO PADA BANK SYARIAH DI INDONESIA

Abstract: Islamic banks in Indonesia will always be faced with various types of risks with varying complexity, and inherent in their business activities. Thus, the application of Islamic banking risk management in Indonesia is very urgent to be implemented in order to identify, measure, and control various risks that will be faced. Risk is the possibility of an unwanted event occurring, which can cause losses if not anticipated or managed properly. Meanwhile, risk management is a set of methodologies and procedures used to identify, measure, monitor, and control risks arising from all bank business activities. The risk management of Islamic banks has a different character from conventional banks, mainly because of the types of risks that are only attached to banks that operate according to sharia. PENGARUH PSIKOTERAPI REALITAS TERHADAP PENINGKATAN SEROTONIN DAN PENURUNAN SKOR DEPRESI PASIEN KANKER SERVIKS

Latar Belakang : Kanker serviks merupakan kanker primer dari serviks yang disebabkan oleh infeksi human papilloma virus (HPV). Seorang wanita yang terdiagnosis kanker serviks khususnya stadium lanjut akan mengalami stres emosional yang dapat berlanjut ke arah depresi. Keadaan ini akan berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup, penurunan kadar serotonin dan peningkatan skor depresi. Pemberian psikoterapi realitas dapat berdampak positif. Tujuan : Menganalisis terjadinya pengaruh psikoterapi realitas terhadap kadar serotonin dan skor depresi pasien kanker serviks stadium lanjut di RSUD dr Moewardi Surakarta. Metode Penelitian : experimental quasi non randomized pre post test design, dengan 15 subyek penelitian. Penelitian dilakukan di bangsal dan poliklinik kebidanan dan kandungan RSUD dr Moewardi Surakarta dan Laboratorium Prodia, dimulai bulan Maret 2015. Hasil : Distribusi rerata kadar serotonin pada subyek sesudah psikoterapi realitas lebih tinggi (223.59+41.20), dibandingkan dengan sebelum psikoterapi realitas (82.77+27.02). Analisis uji t terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan sangat signifikan kadar serotonin pada subyek sebelum dan sesudah psikoterapi realitas dimana nilai p=0.00 (p<0.01). Distribusi rerata skor depresi pada subyek sesudah psikoterapi realitas lebih rendah (11.40+4.80), dibandingkan dengan sebelum psikoterapi realitas (17.33+5.52). Analisis uji t terbukti bahwa terdapat perbedaan sangat signifikan skor depresi pada subyek sebelum dan sesudah psikoterapi realitas dimana nilai p=0.00 (p<0.01). Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh psikoterapi realitas terhadap kadar serotonin pada pasien kanker serviks dan secara statistik bermakna. Terdapat pengaruh psikoterapi realitas terhadap skor depresi pada pasien kanker serviks dan secara statistik bermakna. Peran Sekolah dalam Menumbuhkembangkan Perilaku Hidup Sehat pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar (Studi Multi Situs di SD Negeri 6 Mataram dan SD Negeri 41 Mataram Kota Mataram Nusa Tenggara Barat)

The purpose of this study is to describe to describe the role of schools in developing healthy life styles in elementary school students. This study used a qualitative approach using multi-site study design. The study was conducted in SDN 6 and 41 Mataram, Mataram, NTB. Data were collected research data with interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by analysis of single site and site traffic analysis. Checking the validity of the data is done by three criteria namely credibility, dependability, and confirmability. The results show that the school program with surgery ants, Saturday clean, flag ceremony, morning gymnastics, praying together, and UKS Aubade, an effective activity to foster healthy behavior, which involves the role of school principals, teachers and school personnel. The activity was supported by facilities and infrastructure in schools. Curriculum and learning environment (PLH) as local content. Awards to students such as praise and attention is given to students who behave in a healthy life while in school sanctioned verbal warning given to students who violate.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran sekolah dalam menumbuhkembangkan perilaku hidup sehat pada siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan rancangan studi multi situs. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 6 dan 41 Mataram, kota Mataram, NTB. Data penelitian dikumpulkan data penelitian dengan tehnik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan analisis situs tunggal dan analisis lintas situs. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan tiga kriteria, yakni kredibilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa program sekolah berupa operasi semut, sabtu bersih, upacara bendera, senam pagi, doa bersama, aubade dan UKS, merupakan kegiatan yang efektif untuk menumbuhkembangkan perilaku hidup sehat, yang melibatkan peran kepala sekolah, guru dan personil sekolah. Kegiatan tersebut ditunjang dengan sarana dan prasarana di sekolah. Kurikulum dan pembelajaran lingkungan hidup (PLH) sebagai muatan lokal. Penghargaan kepada siswa seperti pujian dan perhatian diberikan kepada siswa yang berperilaku hidup sehat di sekolah, sedangkan sanksi berupa peringatan secara lisan diberikan kepada siswa yang melanggar

PROFIL TIM PUTRA BOLAVOLI PANTAI JAWA TIMUR

Olahraga pada dasarnya merupakan aktifitas yang sangat digemari setiap orang diseluruh dunia, di Indonesia olahraga merupakan kebutuhan bagi semua orang terlebihnya pada zaman modern sekarang ini, karena semua orang menginginkan tubuh yang sehat jasmani dan rohani agar dapat melakukan kegiatan setiap hari salah satunya melalui olahraga bolavoli pantai. Bolavoli pantai merupakan salah satu olahraga yang kompetitif dan rekreasi yang paling populer di dunia. Olahraga ini dapat dilakukan oleh berbagai umur dengan tingkat keterampilan yang berbeda-beda baik oleh pria maupun wanita. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil, perjalanan karir atlet bolavoli pantai putra Jawa Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah obeservasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pencatatan, pengelompokkan data, dan analisis data. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 7 orang yang terdiri dari 4 orang atlet dan 3 orang pelatih. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata dari 4 atlet yang diteliti memulai perjalanan karir bolavoli pantai sejak awal SMP dan prestasi yang diperoleh saat ini adalah hasil dari kedisiplinan dalam berbagai hal baik dalam latihan maupun kehidupan sehari-hari serta movitasi yang sangat tinggi untuk menjadi yang terbaik dan haus akan prestasi namun tetap rendah hati. PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODIFIKASI PERMAINAN TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN TOLAK PELURU STUDI PADA SISWA KELAS V SDN WONOPLINTAHAN I/276 PRAMBON KABUPATEN SIDOARJO

Abstract Shot put is one of athletics are easy to do and achieve but&nbsp; need good learning of effectiveness especially for&nbsp; elementary school students. Learning effectiveness is often overlooked, despite the fact that is very important in the learning process. the effectiveness of learning&nbsp; to be a measurement of educational success in learning process, if the learning process is effective then the goal will be achieved . Learning effectiveness can be created through how to teach methods. A good learning of effectiveness in the shot put educators can use a modified game that make students will be more active in learning process and learning&nbsp; environment that are not too rigid or monotonic. The method that are used here is the pretest and posttest. The design of it is &ldquo;One Group Pretest - Posttest Design&rdquo; and instruments were used are : (1). Class Observation Sheet Dikjasor, it is a sheet that contains an observations that are used for comparison between pretest and posttest at the learning&nbsp; process. (2). FCE Questionnaire (Formative Class Evaluation) is used to determine the opinion of&nbsp; the students towards learning process.(3). Rubric Assessment Mastery Learning is used to determine learning process result in learning student mastery. Based on SPSS data processing results in research of 24 students is known that &alpha; (0.05) Z value is -3,684b&nbsp; and with Asypm. Sig. ( 2-tailed ) ,000. This is indicates there is a difference if Sig &lt; &alpha; (0.05) then it means the received &nbsp;is effect of using games in learning effectiveness modification shot put with an increased amount of learning that is 9.46 % . Conclusions of this study shows that Sig &lt; &alpha; (0.05) then acceptable&nbsp; can be concluded that the application of Learning Effectiveness Shot Put At Elementary School Fifth Grade Students Wonoplintahan I/276 Prambon Sidoarjo With Modification Game are effective in the shot-put learning and improve student learning result.
